Joint, bone and muscle injuries haven’t heard that the world is in quarantine, unfortunately, so Dayton Orthopedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Center will remain open to all. Your health has always been our top priority, so we are adapting our practice to the Coronavirus (otherwise known as COVID-19) and have taken every available precaution to make sure you stay safe.
Consult with our staff from the comfort and safety of your own home.
We can adjust treatment plans, discuss procedures and many other services by phone. Call our office to set up a remote consultation – (937) 436-5763.
We are spacing in-person appointments out more
This will give us plenty of time to thoroughly disinfect treatment areas between patients. It will also ensure that our very large waiting room only has a few people in it at once.
Please only bring yourself and one support person, if necessary
We respectfully ask that you leave children and unnecessary companions at home, to prevent the spread of this illness.
If you feel sick, call us before coming in
We are also asking any patients with a cough, shortness of breath or fever to please contact us before coming to your appointment. We may be able to meet your needs through telemedicine. If you need a physical examination, we can reschedule your appointment when you feel better.
Non-emergency surgeries will be rescheduled
To reduce the load on our local hospitals, we are temporarily delaying all non-emergent surgeries. Our surgical coordinator will contact you with more information.
The situation is constantly evolving, but please know that we are committed to providing the best care to you and will continue to give you the best guidance we can. We’ll get through this together.
